Spotlight: Evelyn Tyler

Q: Tell us about yourself!
A: I was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. I am blessed to have a big extended family—-friends included. I have been with Kitestring for 2 years, and my position is Software Consultant.

Q: What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
A: I enjoy spending time with my daughter, grandchildren, and friends. If I am not with them, I enjoy being outdoors (it is hard to do that at the moment with this Texas heat) 😊

Q: What led you to this career? Were you influenced by anyone or anything?
A: I have always enjoyed analyzing data.

Q: What are you most proud of accomplishing since joining Kitestring?
A:  I haven’t accomplished all of it yet…..taking classes in Pluralsight to advance my knowledge and skills.

Q: What keeps you motivated?
A: Seeing progress with any goals that I have set.

Q: Where is your favorite destination to travel to, and why?
A:  I love going to any destination with family and friends. Those are memories that you can cherish forever.

Q: When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A: I wanted to be a nurse…..that went downhill quick when I was queasy at the sight of blood`.

Q: What’s the best piece of professional advice you’ve ever received?
A: Work hard and be nice to people.

Q: What, if anything, are you currently binge-watching? Or reading?
A: My daughter has me getting caught up on Virgin River. The new season is due to come out soon.
